Habitat
Large trees are a critical component of the habitat Black-and White
Warblers prefer. There are generally found in the understory and use
ground-cover plants, tangles, and dead leaves for nest concealment.
They winter in a variety of forests from high-elevation cloud forests
to lowland evergreen and deciduous forests, and tropical coffee plantations.
Status
Black-and-White Warblers are common summer residents in the metro Atlanta
area.
