Habitat Blue-gray Gnatcatchers are considered habitat generalists. They tend to prefer moist deciduous woods where they are usually found high in the canopy. However they are also known to occur in swamps, scrub habitat, chaparral, and even desert. Status Blue-gray Gnatcatchers are common during spring and fall migration in the Atlanta area. They are also summer residents. |
