A meteorologist, Lisa joined the Fernbank Science Center staff in 2003 and instructs atmospheric science classes for k-12 and professional learning programs. Lisa holds both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association seals and worked in radio and television. She relocated to the Atlanta area in 1996 for a position at The Weather Channel and was on the air for seven years with the Mariettta based cable company. Lisa retired from the United States Air Force after serving in the reserves for 22 years.
